Diana Cooper was born in 1964. She received a BA from Harvard College in Cambridge, MA and a MFA from Hunter College in New York City in 1997. Her most recent solo shows include gallery exhibitions at the Hales Gallery, London, England in 2000 and Postmasters, New York City in 1998 and 1999 where she will also have a show in September 2002. Her work was included in Personal Abstraction at The Sculpture Center and Painting, Not Painting at White Columns, both in New York City, in 2001. In 2000 she participated in Greater New York at PS1 Contemporary Art Center, and exhibitions at the Weatherspoon Gallery, Greensboro, NC and Boulder Museum of Art, CO. She currently lives and works in New York City.
