For his first exhibition in New York, Israeli artist Gal Weinstein has created a mural based on images taken from the book, The German Shepherd Dog. The mural was made by delicately layering steel wool in varying densities upon an adhesive surface. The large-scale mural features images of policemen with trained German shepherds as an example of how nature has been cultivated and “civilized.”
