Peeled City
Created by Hungarian-born artist Attila Csörgõ, Peeled City is a scaled model of a New York City block that was made using paper. After completing the flat map, Csörgõ transforms it into a geometric sculpture using an origami-like technique.

This residency and exhibition are part of Art in General’s Eastern European Residency Exchange (EERE) gives artists an opportunity to create a new work in a new context, and to meet and interact with art communities in Eastern Europe and New York City.
