Elevator Stretching

04lakner_elevator_144_144For his residency, Antal Lakner enacts an elevator stretching program, developed to help avoid physical passivity and to instigate awareness of the body during trips in the elevator. This project was developed out of a concern for the habits formed due to the mechanical components of human life.

Antal Lakner was nominated to the EERE by Trafó Gallery in Budapest, Hungary .
