Sampling audio components from Steven Spielberg’s film, Saving Private Ryan, Stephen Apicella-Hitchcock has created an audio installation that layers screaming, crying, grunting, explosions, gunshots and other violent sounds. Juxtaposed with these horrific noises are whimsical scores from other Spielberg films such as E.T. and Close Encounters.
