032wi96_4_lg_144_144The title of this group installation was taken from the Chinese expression, “You’re our heart and blood.” The contributing artists are members of the Student Advisory Committee at the Museum of Chinese in the Americas. Working with artist Aresh Javadi, they collected stories, images and objects from their relatives in an exploration of personal and family histories.
