Valued Customers

Created by Stephanie Diamond, Valued Customers features a large-scale photograph installed in the front window of Art in General depicting a woman window-shopping. The piece challenges the perspective of the viewers by mirroring their own actions. In an artist statement Diamond has noted, “I use photography as a mediator and facilitator for communication, understanding, and reflection. This approach is based on ideas related to friendship, equal exchange, teaching, mediation, psychology, and overall healing.”
