Dio N.Y. sus’ Scales

Dio N.Y. sus’ Scales is an interactive, sound installation created by Dutch artist Mario van Horrik and organized by Harvestworks, NYC. An intersection of sound, image and movement, this installation is activated by a rope that the viewer pulls to trigger a series of four motors and wheels, which changes the structure and pitch of the strings. This work was inspired by Dionysus, the Greek God of wine and inspiration, who drove a cart pulled by four black panthers.
