Mel Kendrick’s sculpture, 1/2 Off, is the form of a dissected nut, cast in marble dust and supported by metal rods. Kendrick’s sculpture often represent aspects of the natural world. He explores his interest in twins and the question of unique identity by replicating an object and presenting it with its mirror image.
