Reflector

The limited edition photograph Reflector was inspired by eteam’s project The International Airport Montello. This project is a collaboration with the citizens of Montello, Nevada, and centers on a 10-acre piece of land purchased by eteam from an auction at eBay.com. The reflector in the photograph is stationed in the desert and is used to transmit phone signals to and from the town of Montello. eteam’s members are Franziska Lamprecht and Hajoe Moderegger. Their work is guided by a process of understanding the circumstances and possibilities of a specific place or site. Their projects have been recently featured in exhibitions at P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center and Momenta in New York City; The Soap Factory in Minneapolis; Grizedale Arts in England in Liverpool and the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia in Madrid, among other places.
